At ROLMEX we are not slowing down. Another delivery has just been made to the ordering party – the Road Administration in Lidzbark Warmiński. This time we handed over a complete set consisting of a KR600Z boom mower and two professional working heads: a mulching Ragnar 100 and a cutting GHL-130 in the UltraCut system.
The machine was mounted on a Case Puma 150 tractor equipped with a transmission with creeper gears, supplied by MIRTRANS, providing ideal working conditions for the boom mower.
This is another step in the development of modern and sustainable roadside maintenance in Poland.
KR600Z – Polish boom mower for difficult terrain conditions
The KR600Z boom mower is one of the most refined professional-class designs in Poland. It was developed for intensive use by municipal units, road authorities, service companies and forestry farms.
The KR600Z stands out:
- A working range of up to 6 meters, allowing horizontal, vertical and angled mowing,
- Extremely robust arm construction based on high-grade steel,
- High-performance hydraulics prepared to handle tools with high power requirements,
- The ability to work with 11 different working heads – mulching, cutting, milling, saws and guillotines,
- Optional proportional joystick.
Polish boom mowers, including the KR600Z, are designed for real-world operating conditions: hard shoulders, stones, logs, neglected ditches, multiple mowings per season and frequent collisions with obstacles. That’s why they’re tougher than their Italian counterparts – designed for intensive work, not light Western European conditions.
Ragnar 100 – professional mulching head for heavy-duty work
The Ragnar 100 is a mulching head designed for extreme conditions. Equipped with a rotor with high kinetic energy, it allows for fast and efficient shredding:
- dense bushes,
- moisture,
- youngsters,
- woody offshoots as large as a few centimeters in diameter.
A key component of Ragnar 100 are rotary hammers with a hardness of more than 50 HRC, produced according to a unique ROLMEX recipe. They contain additional molybdenum and chromium alloys, and their reduced carbon content reduces brittleness and increases impact resistance.
This solution makes the Ragnar 100 one of the most durable mulching heads in its class.
GHL-130 – professional UltraCut system based on welded rings
The GHL-130 is a cutting head, but not based on a standard blade system. This head uses the UltraCut system, which is the technology used in typically higher-end English professional boom mowers.
The UltraCut system is:
- A set of welded rings on which the cutting elements are mounted,
- Maximum rigidity of the entire cutting system,
- Minimal vibration even at high speeds,
- Impact resistance against hard elements,
- Clean, precise branch cutting, typical of British municipal machines.
The key thing about the UltraCut design is that the knives are not loosely suspended as in low-cost heads, but work in a ring system – far more stable, efficient and much longer-lasting.
The GHL-130 combined with the KR600Z creates a typically professional set for year-round work, including road verge maintenance, branch cutting and de-barking.
Case Puma 150 – the perfect tractor for a boom mower
The choice of tractor is crucial.
The Case Puma 150 with creeper gears is the best possible combination with the KR600Z boom mower. Thanks to the very low operating speeds, the operator can:
- Control the operation of cutting and mulching heads,
- maintain an even rotation of the hydraulics,
- Work stably even in demanding terrain,
- reduce the loads transferred to the arm and hydraulic system.
Case Puma is valued by Road Authorities precisely for this compatibility with boom mowers.
Polish boom mowers – more durable than Italian ones
In Polish conditions, operating a boom mower is much more difficult than in Italy or France.
Why are Polish designs winning?
- Heavier roadsides, more rocks, branches and bumps,
- Much higher frequency of mowing – up to 4 times a season,
- Denser vegetation and aggressive regrowth,
- more difficult slopes and drainage ditches,
- Road clearing is still undergoing technical development in many regions.
A Polish boom mower has to handle it all. That’s why ROLMEX models are designed for durability, not “for the catalog.”
Patriotism isn’t just about the flag – it’s about choosing Polish products every day
The approaching November 11 – Independence Day – is a good opportunity to remind us that patriotism does not end with symbols.
It is very important to support the Polish economy through:
- buying Polish products,
- selecting Polish machines,
- Investing in domestic technologies,
- building jobs in Poland.
Every KR600Z boom mower sold to the Polish Road Administration is a real contribution to industry, local capital and economic independence.
Independence is built every day – with informed purchasing decisions.
