Heads for Excavators and Backhoe Loaders

Choosing the right equipment is the key to staying ahead of the competition and delivering projects on time. Our catalog includes machines that turn a standard tractor or excavator into a versatile work center. For companies maintaining road shoulders and drainage ditches, we have prepared reliable boom mowers that offer impressive arm reach and precise control. With them, work on steep embankments becomes safer and significantly faster, reducing operating costs on every kilometer of road.

Solutions for special tasks on every terrain

Where punching power and resistance to harsh conditions matter, our flail mowers are irreplaceable. They are designed for intensive shredding of dense grass, bushes and self-seeded plants over large green areas. If your work involves construction equipment, an excavator cutting head is the ideal choice. It allows efficient use of the carrier’s hydraulics for maintenance of slopes and watercourses, with exceptional durability of the cutting elements.

Can stumps be removed effectively without damaging the terrain?

Our offer is supplemented by specialized tools for land reclamation and forestry work. Each stump grinder we offer precisely removes post-felling residues, preparing the ground for new plantings or construction investments. Instead of using heavy equipment to pull out stumps, choose grinding — less invasive and significantly more economical.

By choosing Rolmex products, you receive technical support and access to machines designed for maximum daily efficiency.

Questions and answers

How do I match a ROLMEX head to the weight of my excavator?

The product pages give the carrier weight for two series: GKL flail heads for mini excavators — GKL60 1.5–2.5 t, GKL80 2–3.5 t, GKL100 2.5–4 t — and the GK150 heavy flail head for excavators over 12 t.

For the other heads the product pages do not give the excavator weight; the GKC mulcher description recommends matching the model to the hydraulic capacity and the tonnage of the excavator. For the NSKN120 and NTFG120 the table gives compatibility with the JCB HYDRADIG 110W.

Which excavator head shreds the thickest branches?

The GDX150 mulcher — branches up to 40 cm. The GDX125 and the GKC mulchers shred material up to 25 cm, the NTFG120 mower up to 120 mm and the NSKN120 up to 80 mm.

Does the weight in the table include the excavator holder?

For the GK150 (500 kg), GHL125 (280 kg) and the GKC mulchers (860–1100 kg) the table gives the weight without holder. The GKL mowers are supplied complete with a “harness” type holder (parallelogram), hydraulic supply hoses and connectors.

What hydraulic output do ROLMEX excavator heads require?

From 24 l/min at 230 bar (GKL60) to 220–450 l/min at 300–500 bar (GDX150). Examples from the tables: GHL125 — 80 l/min at 200 bar, GK150 — 100 l/min at 280 bar, GKC100–GKC150 — 130–180 l/min at a minimum of 250 bar, FP60 — 110 l/min at 200 bar or 90 l/min at 280 bar.
