Introducing the Advanced Side Flail Mower, Also Known as the Road Flail Mower or Road Mulcher, Model KB

The side flail mower, also known as the road flail mower or road mulcher, model KB, enables efficient grass mowing both behind and beside the tractor. This solution eliminates the need to drive the tractor on the roadside, enhancing safety and user convenience.

Specifications of the KB Flail Mower

The KB mower features an internal Hardox wear-resistant steel lining and sides made of special Domex 700 steel, reinforced with specialized side strengthening since 2023.

It offers a mowing width from 1.4 to 2.2 meters, representing the actual working width of the machine during mowing.

Variants of the Mower and Their Applications

The model with “T” type hammer blades is ideal for mowing varied terrains, including areas with diverse cut material. The KB flail mower with “T” type hammers efficiently handles branches up to Φ80mm in diameter of dry wood. Alternatively, heavy Y-blades can be installed on the rotor.

A version with specialized YS blades on shackles is also available. Y blades on shackles offer the best mowing quality, appreciated on highways, regional roads, and flood embankments of the Vistula and Oder rivers.

Pantograph Flail Mower – A Modern Solution

An important feature of the pantograph flail mower is the tiltable dual rear flaps, which allow faster mowing of taller grasses, wastelands, reeds, and blackthorns, while maintaining high-quality biomass shredding. Additional flaps in the pantograph flail mower also enable quick blade inspection without the need to stand the mower upright.
